Tips and Tricks

Introduction
Before I start, if you
are a beginning Terraria player, we recommend you continue reading. If you are
an advanced player, (or so you think,) if you don't want a repeat of what you
already know, you should skip to “A Trip to Hell.”
Carrying on.
Terraria is a very
interesting game, in which your
character must defeat bosses, constantly kill monsters, and earn money. (Such
as Copper Coins, Gold Coins, etc.) the first subject we will talk about is the
First Three Bosses To Fight. That might sound strange, considering that we
might want to build a house first, but that is simple. Break a tree, craft
wood, make a table, done. We don’t need to talk about that, do we? No.
First Three Bosses To Fight:
1st: The Devourer of
Worlds!
This boss is specifically easy, regarding the fact that it has
very poor defense, and is long and
snake-like. All you really have to do is shoot a few projectiles at it, (you
will need about 150 arrows, and maybe a healing potion. They are not hard to
find at all.)
2nd: Skeletron!
To conquer this boss, you will probably need some armor, 3
healing potions, a bow, and a spear. (All of which you can find in chests
scattered across the world.)
3rd: The Eye of Cthulhu!
There isn’t much to say about this guy. He is
pretty much an eye that shoots other eyes at you. He is easy if you have good
defense, a weapon and maybe a healing potion or night vision potion. Same with
Skeletron and the “Worm.”
You need weapons and armor.
Mining:
Mining is easy. For your first trip, you might want to focus on
getting chests. (Hint: If you see two chests next to each other, do NOT enter a
radius of five blocks. Then, throw an explosive or two at the chests. If they
explode, proceed. If you see a smoke monster emerge from the ruins,
RUNRUNRUNRUN!!!!) In the chests you should find a numerous amount of loot in
them. Those can be later-on used for defending and boss-battling.
